To draw closer the bond of union among Indian Christians of all denominations.
To promote the general welfare and protect the interests and rights of the Christian Community.
To encourage the Christian community for fuller participation in national political life.
To initiate measures for the welfare of the economically and socially weaker sections irrespective of caste, creed religion.
Social Political stands
We are now requesting both the Central Government and the State Government to pass a Bill that will allow the Christian dalits also to enjoy the same benefits as enjoyed by dalits of other communities.
We are thankful to our Hon’ble Chief Minister for writing to the Central Government on this issue and for requesting the parliament to take a good decision
OUR History ----
INDIAN CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF TAMILNADU - ICATN - Founded in 1888 precisely to address such needs in Indian villages among many other welfare measures. It introduces the message of God's love to the people who live in darkness, by fulfilling their basic needs of Health care, Education and religion. The motto of the Association shall be Faith, Hope, Charity.
